Search Escambia County permit records
Escambia County's own MyGovernmentOnline (MGO) guide instructs users to go to www.mygovernmentonline.org, log in, then hover 'Permits and Licensing' and click 'Search Permits,' entering the permit number in the 'Project Number' field. The guide states an account must be created first. Whether the portal also supports an address-based search could not be confirmed from the readable text of the county's guide (the rest of the search form is shown only in screenshots)..

How to search
- Open the Escambia County permit record search.
- Enter a permit number.
- Open a result to see the permit's status, inspection history, and issue date.
If the permit does not turn up
Older permits are often missing from online records, and a permit filed under a contractor's name will not surface in an address search that expects the owner. Escambia County Building Services Department (Building Inspections Division / Plan Review Division) can check the paper file.
