If the permit does not turn up
Older permits are often missing from online records, and a permit filed under a contractor's name will not surface in an address search that expects the owner. Mecklenburg County Land Use and Environmental Services Agency (LUESA), Code Enforcement Division, which issues the building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing permits inside the City of Charlotte. Zoning review, the Unified Development Ordinance, the Land Development Individual Residential Lot (LDIRL) permit and zoning use permits come from City of Charlotte Planning, Design and Development through the CLT Development Center. can check the paper file.
