Fee Schedule effective July 1, 2026: building permit fees run off project valuation under "NEW CONSTRUCTION - ADDITION - ALTERATION - REPAIR" (a $2,000.00 valuation is $106.00 for a permit without plans and $173.00 for an "RCO Project with plans"), plus a $49.00 RCO permit processing fee due at application, a 1% state surcharge on RCO permits and the 3% technology, 5% planning, 1% training and 1% financial recovery surcharges. Working without a required permit adds an investigation fee equal to the permit fee, maximum $1,695.00.

General Fee Schedule effective January 2, 2014, item C(4) "Swimming pools (private/residential)", minimum fee $50.00. Add the $20.00 minimum plan examination fee, the $20.00 residential zoning fee, and the 1 percent State of Ohio surcharge. A pool that needs power also needs an electrical permit, whose minimum fee is $50.00 under the Electrical Wiring and Equipment schedule.
