Search Seminole County permit records
The Click2Gov Building Permits Online portal's Select Permit search supports lookup by Application Number, Address, Parcel Number, or Name (owner); this search page loaded directly without hitting a login wall. A separate Building Division Fee Payment/Inquiry site (scccap01.seminolecountyfl.gov/BuildingPermitWebInquiry) offers a simpler Permit Number or Address search, also without login. Applying for, paying for, or managing a permit requires a Click2Gov account; the county's own pages do not state a separate login requirement for record search alone..
The search accepts address, permit number, parcel number, or owner name.

How to search
- Open the Seminole County permit record search.
- Enter an address, or switch the search type to look up permits by permit number, parcel number, or owner name.
- Open a result to see the permit's status, inspection history, and issue date.
If the permit does not turn up
Older permits are often missing from online records, and a permit filed under a contractor's name will not surface in an address search that expects the owner. Building Division can check the paper file.
