A fence over six feet takes a building permit priced from the valuation table instead, plus the $49.00 RCO processing fee.

General Fee Schedule effective January 2, 2014, item C(2) "Fences, guardrails, or barriers for 1, 2 and 3 family dwelling units", minimum fee $50.00. Add zoning fee I(3) "Signs, Fences and Appurtenant Structures" of $20.00 and the minimum plan examination fee of $20.00, which the schedule applies to "Projects such as parking lots, signs, roofs or fences which have no floor area", plus the 1 percent State of Ohio surcharge for 1, 2 and 3 family dwelling units.
